We invite you to become a member of our local chapter of PFLAG.
When you join, you
help Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) Tulare-Kings Counties
provide resources and support to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and
their families and friends in our counties and throughout the state. Our ability
to make a difference is limited only by our resources.
We would like you to join
us to help strengthen and expand PFLAG’s
unique programs of support, education and
advocacy. Your annual dues and support will make it possible for PFLAG of Tulare and Kings Counties to take a stand for our shared American values of equality, fairness
and justice. Threats to those values are all around us; PFLAG is working to protect
those values, and also the lives and happiness of our friends, neighbors and children.
Membership in PFLAG of Tulare and Kings Counties is optional. Everyone is welcome
at our meetings whether they are dues paying members or not. That said, we are a
member-supported organization, and we need everybody who can support us to do so.
PFLAG of Tulare and Kings Counties is requesting individuals and families interested
in Membership pay $30 annually, per household. Student Membership is $20, per household.
Dues are tax deductible as charitable contributions. $15 of each local dues payment
is forwarded to PFLAG National, to support national operations.
If you or anyone
you know would like to join PFLAG but is financially unable to do so, our chapter
Scholarship Fund will pay those dues.
